This is a practical one day workshop designed for anyone involved in the inspection and testing of electrical equipment. The course covers all aspects of the City & Guilds requirement for personnel involved in the live testing of equipment. It also allows those with an aministrative responsibility for the inspection of wlectrical equipment to gain a qualification suitable to their role.

Course duration is 1 day ( 9.00am to 6.30 pm ) and costs £ 225.00 + vat

The course involves both theory and practical elements. The theory covers the technical requirements of testing whilst the practical is intended to demonstrate the safe use of testing equipment, how live tests are carried out and finally how relevant documentation is completed to IEE Standards.

The examination is a 1hr multiple choice on line test and the candidates will receive their results on the day. there will also be a live practical test on an appliance. If the candidate wishes to complete the practical aspect of the course on their own equipment they are requested to make the necessary arrangements prior to commencement of the course.

Lunch and refreshments are provided on the day and where possible we will try to cater for any dietary needs.

On successful completion of the course candidates will receive an official City & Guilds Certificate
