PASMA tower scaffold training - This course is a PASMA accredited course covering both Aluminium and Fibreglass Towers,Eg Zip Up, SGB, Eurotower etc. giving the candidate a 5 year certificate and operators card. Recognised by the HSE. We can accomodate up to 12 candidates on the course and content consists of both current legislation, theory and practical sessions. We can train your candidates either at our TRAINING CENTRE at STOKE ON TRENT or our facilities in LOGHBOUGH - LEEDS -LONDON - YORK - WAKEFIELD - LIVERPOOL and NEWCASTLE ON TYNE. Alternatively, on your site anywhere in the UK as long as the site meets the criteria. Duration .1 Day
SAFETY HARNESS TRAINING - This course covers the safe and correct use of Harnesses together with details of the relevent regulations and working at height procedures etc. The candidates will also learn how to inspect and record findings with regard to current legislation and HSE Guidelines. 1 Day. ***** If candidates have had Working at Height Training, the HARNESS TRAINING only is 1/2 day, otherwise 1 Day *****
ASBESTOS AWARENESS TRAINING 1 DAY
The course covers Types and uses of Asbestos, Health Effects & Hazards, Identifying materials containing Asbestos, Working Safely with materials containing Asbestos and the use of Asbestos in buildings. The course ia a must for Flooring Contractors, Window fitters, Local Authorities including school management staff, Maintenance and building Contractors, those working with either asbestos cement or Asbestos Insulating Board.

POWERED ACCESS - A 1 or 2 day course depending upon experience and whether Boom, Scissor Lift or both modules required. Courses are conducted at IPAF centres and recognised nationally by the HSE. Up to 4 candidates can be accomodated at a time in most cases and as all our courses can be arranged in most parts of the UK . The certification lasts for 5 years and renewals can also be easily arranged.

ABRASIVE WHEELS - This course comprises of an introduction to current legislation and dangers associated with Abrasive Wheels, Machine and wheel examination, Wheel types and markings, wheel mounting, safe use including both bench grinders and hand held machines. It covers Grit and Bond Types, Structure reinforcement and Storage. Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations ( PUWER ) are discussed. A test paper and a practical session included. Duration Approx 6 hrs

EXCAVATORS - 360 courses are currently very popular and can be conducted to various accreditations. A novice course is between 5 and 9 days depending whether it is conducted to CPCS accreditation or another body. As with Fork Lifts and Telehandlers ( Below ) An H&S Touch Screen test is required for novices and registration for an NVQ will be required to be completed within a 3 year period in order to gain a full licence should the course be CPCS. Categories are ' Up to 10 Tonne or 10 tonne plus. An ' Experienced Worker Route' is available subject to pre-qualification ( See Below ) Please phone for full details.

FORK LIFTS AND TELESCOPIC HANDLERS - These courses can be conducted under a variety of accreditations ie. CPCS - AITT - LANTRA - RTITB etc. NON CPCS courses vary from 3 - 4 Days for a novice depending upon experience and adaptability. CPCS foundation course for a novice is 5 Days and the candidate is required to conduct a Health and Safety 'Touch Screen Test'. ( Phone for details ). To obtain the full CPCS qualification the candidate must complete an NVQ within 3 years of passing the test. In most cases funding is available for this. There is an experienced worker route which requires verification from an employer to confirm that the candidate has at least 3 years experience on general plant and 2 years on the type that the accreditation is being applied for.( Full Details on request ) Just give us a call.
SELF ERECTING CRANE OPERATOR AND APPOINTED PERSON - This is a comprehensive 3 - 4 day course with the candidate attaining an OPERATOR/SLINGER/SIGNALLERS LICENCE. An extension of this course is for APPOINTED PERSONS Certificate.
ASBESTOS AWARENESS - You would be surprised what materials contain asbestos. Make sure your tradesmen know the risks and where asbestos fibres lurk, even in floor tiles ! 1/2 day course on your site
DUMPERS - 2 days and can be either to CPCS or any of the other accreditations listed above.
